So, I joined a thing...

So, I joined this thing. I'm always making icons and I thought, what the heck? Why not join an icontest community where I get to make pretty mini-pics of BRADLEY JAMES!! Seems a good use of my non-writing time, right?

OK, so now that I joined, I need a bit of help from my flist! Obviously, I can't tell you which icons are mine, but if you could GO HERE and VOTE I'd be very, very appreciative <3

I make tons of icons that I never get around to posting. I mean...a lot. I know I have over a thousand of them just sitting in a folder on my desktop and I've maybe posted 100 of them? The process of making the icons is so enjoyable to me but the process of posting them...not so much.

But this! It's four icons at a time and I just submit them, the lovely mods over at bradleystills pretty up the formatting and post them for us!

They ask that you pick your favourite three for 1st, 2nd & 3rd places, then pick the icon you think best represents the theme-in this case the theme is Multiples-and then the icon you think has the best use of colour.

I use both an online editor called Pic Monkey and I also use PhotoShop as well.

Pic Monkey is great because it makes it really easy to crop and resize images and those are probably the two most important things when making basic icons.
