Hey, just cuz I write em, doesn't mean I want to read em! Besides, this list was just aimed at this particular gift exchange. But seriously, I actually prefer stories to NOT end on a major downer.

That's not to say I can't enjoy something with a miserable ending. (Although, is "enjoy" really the word I want here?)
